I think you're right about that. And also, the fact that John Stewart was sitting there made the whole thing somehow... safe? If that makes sense? Because somebody doing a bad impression of an old Jew COULD have been a total flop, but Stewart is sitting there, looking sort of puzzled, which I think lets Jews in the audience share his attitude?

Anyway, glad you enjoyed it. And the telemarketer bit was just classic comedy. Reminded me of the ancient "BBC does Consumer Reports ratings of world religions" radio bit.

lol, Aniko. I know. I was sitting there that night saying to myself, y'know, I OUGHT to be offended. But I was just laughing too hard. My husband came in, I ran it for him, and he's saying exactly the same thing.

I have no idea how they get away with stuff like that, except they really are comic geniuses. Oyga Boyga!!!
